We step into the breach when a distressed property requires management, reacting quickly to instructions and taking action to manage the insolvency practitioner’s liabilities. When required we manage properties for lenders directly via their LPA receivers and when part of wider insolvency proceedings.
Our insolvency property management team originates from an acquired company that had worked in this area of the industry for over 15 years. We act for a wide range of agents and insolvency practitioners and offer a professional, adaptable and efficient property management service.
With a team specialising in this area of property management and ownership, you benefit from highly experienced individuals that will get to grips with a building or development, its standing and tenants immediately, and keep things moving forward.
We appreciate that clients in the corporate recovery and insolvency sector are frequently required to work to a restricted time frame and to achieve the best value for the lender’s security, whilst achieving this at a competitive cost. We also recognise that not all corporate recovery appointments require an immediate disposal or marketing consideration.
However, property management is required in all instances and the extent of this will vary from case to case. Our services are tailored to meet each individual specific need.
Damage and liability limitation is an important part of our work. We have taken on properties in a variety of states and, when we do take on a property, it is crucial that we gain a full understanding of the property and its tenants.
We organise full Health and Safety, building code, insurance, gas, and electrical assessments, with a view to remedying any issues that are identified.
Whatever the circumstances may be, and whatever the contract length, we provide excellent property management services and we are often retained by the new buyer of a property we’ve managed during a period of distress and insolvency.
