KWB Corporate Cleaning awarded two new ISO accreditations

KWB Corporate Cleaning is celebrating the development of its green cleaning services after receiving two International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) accreditations. The company now has recognition for its environmental performance and health & safety management – alongside its existing ISO 9001 quality management award.

Following intensive external assessment, KWB’s Birmingham-based corporate cleaning company has become one of the only UK commercial cleaning firms to hold the ISO 14001, 45001 and 9001 accreditations.

ISO 14001 shows that KWB Corporate Cleaning suitably measures and improves environmental impact, while ISO 45001 is the standard for providing health & safety in workplaces and preventing work-related injuries and ill health. ISO 9001 reflects a robust quality management system in place that meets customer and regulatory requirements.

The accreditations are the latest step in KWB Corporate Cleaning’s drive to provide green cleaning services of the highest standards, with continuous improvement for its customers and staff.

As part of ISO 14001, KWB has committed to minimising electricity and water consumption, reducing waste, using environmentally friendly products, recycling and using local supply chains. It is also a member of Ecologi, which offsets the operational team’s carbon emissions by funding responsible tree planting and other climate projects.

To comply with the ISO 45001 accreditation, KWB regularly updates health & safety policies according to latest legislation, conducts regular staff training and site audits, and encourages client feedback.
