KWB sponsors pre-test dinner at Edgbaston Cricket Ground

The Birmingham event, which celebrated the top-order batman’s testimonial year, was the first to be held at the County Ground’s new Banqueting Suite – part of the new stand built at the iconic Edgbaston stadium following its recent £32 million revamp.

The dinner, which was hosted by Radio 5 Live’s Pat Murphy and which featured a question and answer session from members of the England cricket squad, was attended by the Warwickshire Cricket Team and members of Birmingham’s business community.

All proceeds raised from the evening were in support of Ian Bell’s benefit year and his chosen charity, Acorn’s Hospice.
