MP John Maples opens multi-million pound courtyard office development in the heart of Henley-in-Arden

Guest of honour of developer Revelan Estates and KWB, Birmingham’s leading office specialists – who have been instructed to market the new courtyard office scheme said, “Ardent Court is a tremendous example of how commercial property here in Warwickshire is bucking the national trend. Developments like Ardent Court are vitally important to ensure the sustainability of small and medium sized towns like Henley-in-Arden.”

In support of his statement, John Bryce of KWB said, “Henley-in-Arden is arguably one of the jewels in Warwickshire’s crown. It’s historic, picturesque and, thanks to its locality and proximity to the M42/M40 network it’s a perfect working environment. Ardent Court has been sympathetically developed to bring commerce to the town. Once again this is another story confirming there is a pulse for small and medium sized businesses acquiring in this market place in and around the motorway network and dispels the so-called media speculation that we are experiencing the “death of the commercial property market.”

Mr Bryce added, “At Ardent Court we have sold 65 per cent of the total 15,542 sq ft of space while nearby in Belbroughton we have experienced what can only be described as a phenomenal success with Mill Pool, with the entire seven-unit scheme being completely sold months before completion. It is a similar tale at Chestnut Court in Sambourne, Worcestershire, arguably the most high-tech courtyard office scheme in the region.”

Developed by Revelan Estates, Ardent Court has been superbly designed by Staffordshire-based architects The Building Design Group and built to the highest standards by BT Felton & Sons. Emma Butlin of LeisureSec, based in unit one of Ardent Court, said, “The attraction of Ardent Court was three-fold – the space it provided, a pleasant environment and the opportunity of a long term investment. Ardent Court also provided ease of access for our workforce due to its rural location, compared with our previous city centre location.” Andrew Thornley, Managing & Creative Director of HTDL based in unit six of Ardent Court, commented, “Trying to find offices in the right location for our growing design agency, as well as a property we could invest in rather than rent, has taken us many years. We wanted a property that reflected the professionalism of our business with nearby motorway access to service clients in London, Birmingham and Warwickshire. We also needed a great location for the team and clients alike to enjoy with ample parking and we wanted a good investment opportunity with a great build specification. Ardent Court matches our requirements on every level with a build and quality of finishes that has surpassed expectations and it will be a pleasure to work here.”
