The 6,200 sq ft Portman House at 5-7 Temple Row West has been sold to private investment company Swali Investments & Holdings Ltd, represented by commercial property agents, Bond Wolfe.

Portman House comprises a three-storey property overlooking St Philip’s Square in Birmingham’s business district. The two vacant floors are being marketed by Bond Wolfe to find new tenants.

Paul Warder, senior surveyor at KWB, secured this high-profile Birmingham commercial property sale on behalf of the building’s previous owner. KWB will continue as the building’s property managers.

Paul said: “When our client wanted to dispose of Portman House, we were delighted to be able to introduce Bond Wolfe and Swali, and broker the sale of the building within weeks.

“This is a fabulous, high-profile property in a second-to-none location, and I look forward to seeing it further flourish under Swali’s ownership.

“As the retained property managers, we will provide asset management advice and guidance on refurbishment potential to facilitate the letting of the remaining space.”
