KWB lets space at Friars Gate offices in Solihull

EUM, who will be relocating from Fort Dunlop to take on a new five year lease at Friars Gate offices in Solihull, help householders to reduce their energy bills by accessing Government grants available for loft, cavity wall and solid wall insulation and replacement boilers/central heating systems.

Friars Gate, which comprises approximately 70,000 sq ft of Grade ‘A’ office space in Shirley, will shortly benefit from a new ‘drive-thru’ Costa Coffee store being constructed on-site and due to open in June this year.

The ‘drive-thru’ concept, which has seating indoors, but with car lanes contributing up to 50 per cent of sales, is part of Whitbread’s strategy to expand into locations beyond the high street. Andy Harrison, chief executive of Whitbread, said that it was aiming to roll out up to 70 or 80 new ‘drive thru’ Costa Coffee stores, as the group seeks to open up new markets.
