KWB secures 60% of M42 office market in Q1 2011

Including significant deals such as the letting of 12,539 sq ft of Solihull office space to Quinton College through their 15 year lease of Century House, almost 9,000 sq ft of high quality office space in Henley-in-Arden at Forward House to MBA International and over 8,500 sq ft of office space in Sheldon to the British Heart Foundation at Lyndon Place, KWB is responsible for 60% of office sales and lettings along the M42 during quarter 1 of 2011.

KWB has a strong track record in the out-of-town area, which benefits from prime office rents and excellent value for money. In 2009 it transacted 111,788 sq ft of office space within the M42 corridor alone – representing 48% of the market – whilst it concluded 52% of sales and lettings in the area during 2010.

Speaking of their success, John Bryce of KWB said, “The number of transactions along the M42 demonstrates the strength of the Midlands office market. We are on trend, with figures above the market average and are using all of our resources to secure some significant office sales and lettings.”

The successful start to 2011 is further testament to KWB’s knowledge and expertise. As the largest agency in the region specialising in out-of-town office developments, the office property specialist continues to outperform the commercial property market, boasting an impressive portfolio of office space around the Midlands’ motorway network.
