Utilising the support and professional advice of Office Property Specialists KWB, the company has signed a ten year lease on 2,450 sq ft of newly refurbished Grade ‘A’ office accommodation, situated within Livery Place, 35 Livery Street.

The move signals the steady growth of the 15 strong accountancy firm, which merged with highly respected Andersons KBS in the summer of 2008.

Speaking of the relocation, Jeremy Cope, partner in charge of the Birmingham office, said that the long-term lease commitment represented the company’s wider plans for growth and development. Of the investment, he added, “I am delighted that just 18 months after our merger, we are in a position to continue with our plans for expansion within the city.”

Following increased client numbers and heightened deal activity, Smith Cooper believes the contemporary office space at Livery Place will provide the firm with the ideal environment to progress and meet the demands of the new commercial landscape.

Acting on behalf of the accountancy firm, Malcolm Jones from KWB explains, “We wanted to source a property that reflected the company’s professionalism. In acquiring the premises we secured a good deal and one that met the criteria of our client.”
