KWB supports TeacherActive’s Birmingham HQ office expansion

Growing teaching supply agency TeacherActive has doubled the floorspace of its Birmingham HQ – with KWB providing office acquisition and fit out services.

Secured by KWB, the deal saw the education recruitment specialist move to the 10,000 sq ft fifth floor at Interchange Place on Edmund Street.

The firm is looking to increase staff numbers at its headquarters from 65 to nearly 100 over the next two years, which will be supported by the move.

Securing Interchange Place

KWB acted on behalf of TeacherActive to acquire the space and agree terms, and was also the fit-out consultant responsible for the modern office design, which includes a street café, separate kitchen, boardrooms, training room, meeting rooms and media room for video creation and editing.

KWB’s cleaning arm, KWB Corporate Cleaning, has also won the company’s cleaning contract following a competitive tender.

A fruitful partnership

TeacherActive is one of the UK’s largest independent educational recruitment agencies – with offices in England and Wales. It expects to create around 75 jobs in its office network through a number of head office positions.
