Prime Worcester business park hits the market
Worcestershire Parkway Business Park, Worcester’s first new business park for over 20 years, has been brought to market.
KWB Office Agency is jointly marketing the new commercial property development with JLL, on behalf of developer Worcester Parkway Business Park Ltd.
The prestigious 10-acre development is situated in Norton, next to Worcestershire Parkway railway station and less than 1.5 miles from Junction 7 of the M5. It will consist of Grade A open plan office buildings available to let that can accommodate up to 1,500 staff.
Occupiers will benefit from this latest Grade A office space in Worcester, with open floor plates, full air conditioning, car and bicycle parking, electric vehicle charging and a landscaped setting, adjacent to a main line station.
Planning permission has already been secured for the first building of three-storeys at 36,000 sq ft, with floors available from 11,500 sq ft. Plans are also in place for a further 130,000 sq ft of office space and a proposed 1,500-space, multi-storey car park.
The business park is part of a sustainable new town at Worcestershire Parkway station proposed in the South Worcestershire Development Plan. Eventually, it will include thousands of new homes and schools, heath facilities, shops, employment space, leisure facilities and green areas.
Malcolm Jones, Director of KWB Office agency, said: “Worcestershire Parkway Business Park is set to be one of the county’s best office locations due to its superb position close to the railway station and the M5.
“It will make an ideal base for high-profile businesses needing flexible, ESG-friendly office space, in a new business park environment.”
Stennard Harrison, Managing Director of Worcester Parkway Business Park Ltd, added: “I’m pleased to have seen the marketing boards go up on-site recently, and look forward to welcoming our first occupiers.
“With amenities and transport options on the doorstep, Worcestershire Parkway Business Park offers firms an attractive and sustainable working environment, which are increasingly important for attracting and retaining the best staff.”
