The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is the world’s leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction. RICS has been raising industry standards since 1868 with more than 100,000 members globally. RICS membership is only awarded to those who meet and maintain the most rigorous practice standards and professional conduct. Our membership, therefore, demonstrates that KWB adheres to the highest professional standards in the world.

Office Agents Society

The Office Agents Society (OAS) exists to represent the interests of office agents across the UK, to develop their access to markets and provide educational / CPD events.The principal aim of the OAS is to promote knowledge and expertise amongst office agents across the UK. This is achieved through the organisation of regular events, seminars, lectures and educational tours. Currently the Society has around 1,000 members nationwide.

British Council for Offices

The British Council for Offices’ (BCO) mission is to research, develop and communicate best practice in all aspects of the office sector. Established in 1990, the BCO is Britain’s leading forum for the discussion and debate of issues affecting the office sector.Its members, which includes KWB Workplace – our office design and move management division – are all organisations involved in creating, acquiring or occupying office space, whether architects, lawyers, surveyors, financial institutions or public agencies. The BCO works to advance the collective understanding of its members, enabling them to work together to create more effective office space.

Birmingham Office Market Forum

The Birmingham Office Market Forum (BOMF) brings together Birmingham’s leading office agents and Business Birmingham to present a co-ordinated voice to investors, developers and occupiers about Birmingham’s city centre office market.KWB contributes market intelligence to the quarterly BOMF statistics and presents these in a concise format with topical and insightful commentary on the KWB research section of the website.

The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce

The Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) connects, supports and grows businesses within Greater Birmingham. KWB is a premier member of the Chambers. Accredited by the British Chambers, GBCC has acted as the voice of local businesses since 1813. The GBCC’s jurisdiction covers six key geographical areas of Greater Birmingham: Birmingham, Solihull, Burton & District, Chase, Lichfield & Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield.

The Property Ombudsman

The Property Ombudsman (TPO) has been providing alternative dispute resolution for consumers and property agents since 1990. The TPO is a government-approved scheme providing free and impartial redress in relation to disputes.
