The period office building, which occupies a prominent position along the A456 Birmingham Road, Kidderminster’s main arterial route, has been purchased by local property development and investment company Gemini Property. The firm which owns a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties, will project manage an extensive refurbishment of the Kidderminster offices over the coming months.

Formerly the headquarters of Adams Carpets, Adam House offers over 14,000 sq ft of self-contained office space, set over three storeys. The neo-classical building, which occupies a 0.67 acre site, will be renovated to create a high quality business environment, whilst ensuring the Kidderminster offices retain much of the property’s original period character.

The offices in Kidderminster benefit from an excellent location, less than a mile from the town centre and offering access to the national motorway network via junctions 3 and 4 of the M5.

Speaking of the office space transaction, John Bryce from KWB said, “The sale of Adam House represents one of the most significant property deals in Kidderminster for some time. Having been instructed on the other major office scheme in Kidderminster, Elgar House and Campion House in Green Street, we have seen a steady increase in rentals from £7 to £12 per sq ft. With the offices in Green Street also generating a high level of demand, this is another example of a healthy Kidderminster office market.”
