City buy for HSBC

‘Cavendish House’ in Waterloo Street has been acquired by KWB for HSBC UK Active Property Fund in conjunction with Stoford. Cavendish House is an existing multi-occupied office building of around 30,000sq ft and the new owners plan to comprehensively refurbish the common areas and the vacant accommodation, before re-letting the space.

Just down the road, on the corner of Bennett’s Hill and Waterloo Street, is the well-known city landmark ‘Bennett’s. This pub is part of the Marston’s stable and occupies the ground floor of a building currently occupied by three tenants. The building has been acquired by KWB for Earlplace from New Wood Securities. The building has around 7,500 sq ft of vacant office accommodation that will be refurbished and re-let.
