Greener, safer and quality assured: KWB Corporate Cleaning’s 2023 review
2023 saw Jim Duffy promoted to Managing Director for KWB Corporate Cleaning, and what a year it was! In KWB Corporate Cleaning’s 2023 review, Jim shares his insight on notable successes and the year ahead – greener, safer and quality assured.
“With the introduction of multiple new contracts across the educational, commercial and industrial sectors, our contract managers were incredibly busy ensuring our valued customers – existing and new – receive a first-class service. They were supported as always by James Healing who, himself, was promoted to Head of Operations and continues to steer the team.
2023 saw the introduction of our partnership with Ecologi, the environmental organisation and carbon offsetting experts who are looking to reverse and halt climate change. Ecologi advocates for climate protection, aiming to reduce 50% of global CO2 emissions by 2040 and responsibly planting billions of trees every year.
Jim continued: “Through this partnership, we calculate our carbon emissions and Ecologi helps us offset tonnes of carbon by funding responsible tree planting and other climate projects. As a people-first company, it’s important for us to minimise impact and protect our planet.
“We were also audited and passed with flying colours our ISO 14001, 45001 and 90001 accreditations confirming our commitment to delivering a disciplined, high quality and environmentally aware client service.
“In 2023, we introduced our new HR and health and safety partnerships, ensuring expert advice is always available in these important areas. In addition, we introduced our brand-new auditing system, GoAudits. This advanced cloud-based auditing and inspections platform allows all our sites to have a bespoke specification uploaded and checked thoroughly for compliance by the contract managers.
“As we start 2024, I’m delighted to announce our brand-new website is now completed and live. A big thank you to our marketing company, Carousel, for capturing everything we asked for in our new digital home, with the emphasis on operational delivery supported by our accreditations, sustainability and quality assurance.
“Of course, none of our success would be possible without the hundreds of cleaning staff across all our contracts who work incredibly hard to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients. As part of KWB Corporate Cleaning’s 2023 review, I’d like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you!
“We’d also like to say thank you to our wonderful clients for entrusting KWB Corporate Cleaning to provide all their cleaning requirements, ensuring premises are clean and safe.
