Lack of Warwickshire and Coventry development land answered by Abbey Park

Back to news list

The lack of consented development land in Warwickshire and Coventry is being answered by Abbey Park, the prime office campus set in stunning parkland.

Demand for development land in Warwickshire and Coventry is increasing, partly fuelled by a rising number of office occupiers seeking to create their own bespoke office space. Yet land supply is significantly low.

The second phase of Abbey Park campus in Stoneleigh is one of few opportunities to offer consented freehold plots, and is attracting high levels of interest. It can deliver five design-and-build Grade A offices in total, ranging from 15,000 sq ft to 36,000 sq ft, as shown in the masterplan CGI below.

John Bryce, KWB property agency Director, is jointly marketing Abbey Park on behalf of DL Properties.

He explained: “Since COVID-19, firms are focusing more on creating ESG-focused, high quality, flexible office environments to attract and retain the best staff, as well as meeting the latest sustainability and energy efficiency standards.

“As a result, we’ve seen a surge in enquiries from occupiers looking to own and develop land themselves or work closely with commercial property developers to deliver buildings that meet their requirements.

“Amidst the shortage of commercial development sites in Warwickshire and Coventry, Abbey Park is proving to be one of the most popular options, because it not only offers build-ready plots of land, but it also ticks the boxes when it comes to location and employee wellbeing.”

The Abbey Park campus has 24-hour barrier-controlled security, generous parking, a concierge service and an outdoor gym, table tennis, woodland trails and picnic areas with 30 acres of open space to enjoy.
