Diamond plans unveiled
Plans have been unveiled for 93,900 sq ft of high-quality industrial, warehouse and R&D space at Birmingham Business Park.
Detailed planning consent has been granted for two state-of-the-art units – measuring 42,890 sq ft and 51,010 sq ft – that are located on a six-acre plot fronting Solihull Parkway, close to the M42 and M6.
The development, which will be known as Diamond, will be delivered on a design-and-build basis, funded by BlackRock Real Estate.

Construction is now underway, with Diamond representing the first new development at Birmingham Business Park since the completion of the Granite scheme in 2020. Practical completion is scheduled for December 2026.
Diamond has been designed to meet industry-leading sustainability standards, targeting EPC-A and BREEAM Excellent. Environmental features will include PV solar panels, EV charging infrastructure, rainwater harvesting and air source heat pumps.
The units will offer modern, high-specification industrial, warehouse and R&D space in Solihull, including up to 47-metre yard depths, 10-metre clear internal heights, 50kN/m² floor loading and a 500kVA power supply.

Birmingham Business Park is a well-established, 148-acre out-of-town business destination located just 2.5 miles from Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International Railway Station, and within close proximity of J6 of the M42 and J4 of the M6.
The business park is home to more than 150 companies employing approximately 10,000 people and offers a range of on-site amenities, including a cafĂŠ, nursery, Greggs bakery, outdoor gym and 24-hour security within a landscaped, parkland environment.
