Edward’s Trust wingwalk performed by Narinder helps raise £15,000 for charity
KWB Property Management’s Narinder Kaur has successfully completed a daring wingwalk to raise money for Edward’s Trust, helping to generate more than £15,000 for the Birmingham-based bereavement charity.
Narinder, who was one of 10 participants in the Edward’s Trust wingwalk at Rendcomb Airfield in Cirencester, raised more than £2,000 herself. Around 100 family members, friends and colleagues turned out on the day to cheer on the group as they took to the skies strapped to the wings of a Boeing Stearman biplane.

Narinder said: “It was the most exhilarating – and terrifying – experience of my life, but absolutely worth it for such a fantastic cause. Seeing so many supporters there on the day made it really special, and I’m so proud we’ve been able to raise so much for Edward’s Trust.
“At KWB, we’ve made it our tradition to push ourselves out of our comfort zones for charity, whether it’s skydiving, abseiling or now clinging to the top of a plane. Edward’s Trust provides incredible support to families at the hardest moments of their lives, and that’s what gave me the courage to go through with it.”
Edward’s Trust supports bereaved parents, children and young people across the West Midlands, providing free qualified counselling and holistic support. The charity receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations.
John Bryce, Director at KWB, added: “We couldn’t be prouder of Narinder for taking on such a brave and unique challenge. At KWB, supporting the community around us is an important part of our values, and Edward’s Trust is a cause close to many of our hearts.

“The fact that Narinder alone has raised more than £2,000, contributing to a total of over £15,000 from the event, is testament to both her determination and the generosity of those who supported her.”
KWB has raised more than £60,000 for Edward’s Trust in recent years through events including a charity skydive performed by KWB Corporate Cleaning’s Emma Bird and an abseil down Birmingham’s 33-storey Bank Tower 2 by members of the KWB Residential team.
Donations to support Narinder and the team’s wingwalk are still being accepted via the fundraising page: https://www.justgiving.com/page/team-kwb-8.
