KWB strengthens property management offer with appointment of new Head of Facilities Management

Independent Birmingham commercial property consultancy KWB has appointed George McCall as its new Head of Facilities Management, in a key hire that will support the continued growth and evolution of the company’s property management services.

George joins KWB from CBRE, where he was part of the Midlands facilities management team and previously worked with Colliers and Knight Frank, gaining extensive experience across the commercial office, retail and industrial sectors. George is also a Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (MIWFM), the body for workplace and facilities professionals

In his new role, George will lead the development of KWB’s facilities management team, ensuring best practice in the day-to-day operation, maintenance and upkeep of client properties.

His appointment will allow KWB’s property managers to focus more closely on asset management and tenant relationships, while the FM team provides high-quality operational support aligned with clients’ wider investment goals.

George said: “KWB has a strong reputation in the Birmingham and wider Midlands market, and I’m excited to be part of its next phase of growth. My focus will be on developing a robust and responsive facilities management team that supports both our clients and tenants on the ground, while helping property managers to concentrate on delivering long-term asset performance.

His appointment is part of a drive led by Sam Lawrence, KWB’s new Head of Property Management, to expand the team and further strengthen the firm’s client offer.
