Largest office letting in Bromsgrove for two years

Back to news list

KWB’s independent Birmingham commercial property agents have secured the largest letting for offices Bromsgrove for more than two years.

Acting with joint agents, Redditch-based John Truslove, and on behalf of a private client, Malcolm Jones – in KWB’s office agency team – let 5,988 sq ft at Java House, Aston Court, Bromsgrove Technology Park to RSM Partners, on a new 10-year office lease.

Bromsgrove-based RSM Partners Ltd provides IT support and software services for IBM mainframe computers to clients across the globe. With a raft of blue-chip customers – including the likes of Marks & Spencer, HSBC, Barclays and BT – the company is growing rapidly. RSM is expanding into the space at Java House from its current offices Bromsgrove, at The Courtyard.

Java House is a modern, purpose-built, two-storey, self-contained office building located on Bromsgrove Technology Park, two miles south-east of Bromsgrove town centre, with excellent links to the Midlands motorway and rail networks.

The scarcity of space within the office markets for both Bromsgrove and Redditch has meant that transactions for office space have been fairly low in recent years. KWB tracks the progress of Birmingham’s out-of-town office market, covering Solihull and the M42 corridor – the research work can be found here. In the research, KWB found that – whilst still fairly low figures – 2017 saw the highest rate of take-up within the combined Redditch and Bromsgrove office market for several years.

Malcolm Jones said: “We are delighted to have secured, once again, the largest office letting in Bromsgrove for over two years. Office space in Bromsgrove over 5,000 sq ft is now in extremely short supply, as businesses already based in the town want to remain here, while others are looking to move in.”

KWB highly recommends that any landlords with Redditch and Bromsgrove office space that is currently vacant to get in touch – as occupier demand remains high. Furthermore, considering office refurbishment works is also advisable, as it will increase appeal and may, ultimately, lead to securing one of the potential occupiers currently in search of high quality office space in the area.
